The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, grassroots nonprofit dedicated to empowering everyone to fully participate in our democracy. For more than a century, we have worked to empower voters and defend democracy. As a women-led organization, we encourage everyone to take part in our democracy.
With 12 active Leagues and more than 600 members throughout the state, the League of Women Voters of Georgia engages in advocacy, education, litigation, and organizing to protect every Georgian's freedom and right to vote. We encourage informed and active participation in national, state, and local government, work to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influence public policy through education and advocacy.
